2026 Rain Barrel Program

Why

The use of a rain barrel is an excellent way to conserve water during high-water-use season and reduce the amount of potable drinking water drawn from private wells or the Town water system. Rain barrel use reduces the stress on all water systems during the summer months and improves storm water management.

When

The Town of Jamestown is partnering again with The Great American Rain Barrel Company. 60-gallon rain barrels are available to purchase online by midnight on Sunday, May 17, 2026 and pick up on Saturday, May 30th at the Jamestown Transfer Station, 1218 North Main Road, from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
