There are a number of resources in Jamestown to make sure that all residents are able to meet their basic needs, feel safe in their community, and thrive.
Jamestown Senior Center
The Town of Jamestown proudly supports its senior center and provides a broad base of social, health and wellness and learning programs to its residents fifty years and older, including exercise classes, trips, meals, social gatherings, and more.
East Bay Community Action Program
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is a private, non-profit corporation that provides a wide array of health and human services to the residents of Rhode Island’s East Bay including Jamestown.
Jamestown Teen Center
The purpose of the Jamestown Teen Center is to empower the young people of Jamestown to strive to reach their fullest potential and become productive citizens in their community. The Center provides opportunities for education, leadership development, recreation, socialization, volunteerism, and workforce skills development.

Jamestown Philomenian Library
The mission of the Jamestown Philomenian Library is to anticipate the needs of the community and provide, for people of all ages, relevant and appropriate library materials, services and centers for meeting and learning. The Library seeks to educate, inform, entertain, and enlighten through both traditional and new technologies.
